- Thick Walled specially formulated polypropylene vials and caps have the same coefficient of expansion which enhances leak-proof qualities at changing temperatures and prevents vial from exploding or breaking
- Used for the freezing of biological material, human or animal cells, at temperatures as low as -196°C, for storage
- Sterilized by gamma irradiation and are packaged in unique tamper proof resealable safety lock bags

It is Recommended:
- That these vials be properly encased and sealed in CryoFlex polyethylene tubing (#LS-2000) for safety and to ensure sample containment temperatures exceeding -80°C and for total immersion in liquid nitrogen
