Applications for Sterile 0.45µm PTFE Syringe Filters:
Filtration of hot liquids, strong bases, or bases
Air sampling
Sulfate and nitrate analysis
Air venting
Cleaning of solvents for HPLC
Gas filtration

Use to filter into a 50ml Centrifuge Tube. 
(The diameter of the syringe filter is larger than the opening of the tube.  
  The Syringe Filter rests on tube's opening for easy filtration.)  

These sterile disposable syringe filter units are used to filter small volumes (up to 100ml), ultraclean, or clarify.  Each unit is equipped with a female luer-lok inlet for easy attachment to a standard syringe. Membranes are sonically welded to the polypropylene housing for strength and to provide bi-directional capability. Filtration area for 30mm diameter filters is approximately 4.2cm2.  Hold-up volume approximately <60µl.

Polypropylene housing and packaging materials are non-pyrogenic (endotoxin free). Bubble point and air and flow rates are integrity tested.
