Tissue-Tearor

The Tissue-Tearor is a rotor/stator type tissue homogenizer which can rapidly homogenize, disrupt, and emulsify samples in 0.2 - 1000 ml of liquid. Complete homogenization of tissues (muscle, liver, breast tissue, etc.) is usually achieved in ten to thirty seconds. Little, if any, heat is produced during the process.

If you need 230 volt unit, please select the models that end in EUR. Four different probe sizes are avaliable - the 04, 07, XL, and 14. Unlike most other Brands of rotor-stator homogenizer, the Tissue-Tearor comes complete with both the high speed motor and a stainless steel probe of your choice. See chart for selection guidance.

Product Description

During operation, the suspended material is drawn into the bottom half inch of the homogenizer probe by a rotor turning at 35,000 rpm. The material is repeatedly cycled through narrow slits in the probe where it is rapidly sheared and disintegrated by high frequency mechanical action.

The Tissue-Tearor comes complete with a high speed, variable speed electric motor, one probe of your choice and a plastic storage stand.* All Tissue-Tearors are priced the same. All probes are interchangable with the TT motor. See Parts & Acc's above to order additional probes alone.
