Destaining bags efficiently allow for safe removal and disposal of Ethidium Bromide, Coomassie Blue and other biological dyes and stains from aqueous solutions and electrophoresis gels. Its proprietary activated charcoal absorbent mixture retains dye molecules in a convenient bag for safe removal. One absorbent destainig bag will extract and remove 99% of the stain or dye from a 0.5µg/ml solution and can then be disposed of as chemical waste.
