These PCR (SBS) 96-place Iso-Freeze Plate Chill-Racks are filled with temperature dependent gel that will maintain a color when they’re cooled to 4°C (refrigerator temperature), for approximately 2.5 hours. As the temperature rises +7°C the color of the gel will change acting as an indicator for the user to refreeze the rack, if necessary.

These PCR 96-place Plate Chill-Racks are designed for Full Skirt, Semi-Skirt, and Un-Skirted PCR plates (SBS compliant for automation applications) .  PCR 0.2ml single tubes, strips or plates fit into the rack.  Units are made from polypropylene.
