This thick paper is perfect for blotting procedures and has the same absorbency characteristics as grades LS-238 except that it is approximately twice as thick to accommodate heavy blotting requirements. Used to complete the blotting sandwich, its smooth, uniform texture assures continuous contact of buffer from the chamber through the gel and transfer membrane to the opposite pole or weight.
