This insert is used for running the first dimension of IEF gels. Up to ten 8 cm gels are poured in disposable capillary tubes and placed in this insert. Gasketed ports allow for easy insertion and removal of tubes. Blocking plugs are included for closing off ports that are not in use. The ENDURO™ Vertical Gel System can be customized to meet your needs. All modules fit into the buffer tank supplied with the system.

Enduro™ Modular Mini VE10 Vertical Gel Systems

Labnet's ENDURO™ Modular Mini VE10 Vertical Gel System for protein electrophoresis is ideal for screening new samples and evaluating sample preparation conditions. It is a great research tool that can run a maximum of 4 andcast PAGE gels within an hour (or 2 commercail precast gels). These gels can be either custom handcast or pre-cast. Thesame system allows for either PAGE or Electroblotting to be carried out in the same tank by simply changing the modular insert.

The VE10 PAGE electrophoresis system can accommodate up to 4 handcast gels and 2 commercial precast gels to provide complete flexibility for individual research needs. The unique sliding clamp technology within the PAGE insert facilitates fast, intuitive leak-free casting. Reversible combs also serve as loading indicators to aid pipette-well alignment, preventing sample loading errors. Insert your comb into a freshly poured gel which is allowed to set before inverting the comb to use a loading template that sits conveniently above the newly formed sample wells.

With easy set up and reliable performance, the VE10 Mini Vertical systems are perfect for today's laboratories where the ability to generate reproducible results quickly is of prime importance.

    Each Modular Insert is equipped with it's own electrode assembly that connects into the lid of the buffer tank.  

   - PAGE Insert - 4 handcast gel capacity per run (Note, only 2 commercial precast gels per run).
     If hand casting (not using pre-cast gels), follow these simple steps.  After the gel polymerizes, remove insert from 
     casting stand (sold separately) and place it into the buffer tank (filled with buffer, such as Tris Glycine buffer).
   - Electroblotting Insert - 3 gel capacity per run.
     To blot, the sandwiched transfer membranes are put into the insert, then into the tank for fast transfer.
   - 2D tube IEF gel electrophoresis insert - 10 x 8cm capillary tube capacity per run.
     Gels, poured into tubes, are put into insert, then into the tank.

•  The Enduro PAGE Vertical System accepts most pre-cast gels, including Bio-Rad™ Mini PROTEAN , Invitrogen™, 
    Cabrex™,NuSep™, Novex™ SERVAGel™,  Thermo Precise Pierce Protein Gel, and our own LSP precast gels. 

•  Four Enduro Systems are available.  Insert Modules and casting stand are available and sold separately.
