Cluster Tube Systems are ideal for HTS (high-throughput screening) processes and long-term storage libraries. It all begins with high-clarity, ultra-pure polypropylene, combined with proprietary injection molding techniques to produce high-clarity vessels that are exceptionally robust, chemically-resistant, and pure. All Micro-Titer Tube products are Certified to be free of detectable RNase, DNase, DNA, PCR inhibitors. The are tested to be pyrogen-free.
Applications for Micro-Titer Tubes include HTLV-III, CMV, and HSV testing, harvesting and storing of colonies of bacterial cells and hybridoma cells, EIA/ELISA and RIA serial dilution, and storage libraries. Racks and their lids have a non-reversible foot and an alpha-numeric sequence for sample identification and elimination of potential cross-contamination. Racks have corner rims for easy stacking for storage. Made from polypropylene, all tubes, and racks and lids are autoclavable and freezable to –90 °C (–130 °F). CapStrips are made from softer polyethylene (non-autoclavable) to provide a safe and secure seal. 1.2ml size tubes are 8.5mmW x 45mmL. Robotic racks have a SBS footprint, 8x12 format for automated plateforms.
