The MyFUGE™ 8 Mini centrifuge is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in
the palm of your hand. Ideal for quick spin downs of microtubes and PCR tubes,
the MyFuge is extremely easy to use. Simply close the lid and the rotor instantly
reaches 6,000 rpm/2000xG. Open the lid, and the rotor quickly decelerates to a stop
for removing samples.
An increased capacity, eight-position microtube rotor is included and comes
installed. A second rotor is also included for PCR tubes. This rotor accommodates
two 8-place PCR strips or sixteen single 0.2ml PCR tubes. A convenient storage
compartment for this second rotor is located on the bottom of the unit (the
rotor's removal key is also stored in this compartment). When the rotor is not in
use, storage (of the second rotor and removal key) prevents loss or misplacement.
