The Orbit™ 1000 Digital Shaker is a mid-sized shaker with a choice of 4 easy-to-exchange platforms. This shaker is equipped with a powerful brushless motor, counter balanced shaker mechanism and adjustable speed control for smooth operation. Speed and time are digitally displayed. This shaker is safe for numerous shaking or mixing applications. It is ideal for temperature controlled environment applications, gentle washing and staining and destaining, thorough aeration of liquid cultures, growth of bacterial cultures, and hybridization. Its small footprint and low profile are ideal for use in incubators. Four platforms are available for a variety of containers/vessels, including double platform option. The universal platform has spring-loaded bars that adjust to fit flasks, bottles, tube racks and odd shaped containers. The Flask platform is predrilled to hold Erlenmeyer clamps.
