1.2ml sized Micro-Titer Tubes are made from co-polymer polypropylene.
Tubes have a maximum capacity of 1.0ml with caps attached. These titer
tubes are autoclavable to 121°C and freezable to -90°C. They are packaged
loose in BulkPacks of 1000, and in 8x12 formatted 96-place racks. Micro-
Titer Tubes in connected strips of 8 and 12 are also available in bulk or in
racks. 96-place racks are available in our original RackPacks or in our robotic
compatible RoboRacks for multichannel pipetting, dilution and dispensing.
Specifically, RoboRacks are designed to be compatible with popular robotic
workstations, including those from Beckman® (Biomek™), Tecan™, Cetus®
(Propette®), TomTec® (Quadra 96™), and others.
Micro-Titer tubes are available with or without frosted writing areas for
sample ID. Polyethylene 8 or 12 place Plug CapStrips are sold separately.
Racks and their lids have a non-reversible foot and an alpha-numeric sequence
for sample identification and elimination of potential cross-contamination.
Racks have corner rims for easy stacking for storage. 1.2ml size
tubes are 8.5mmW x 45mmL.

Note, Plug CapStrips (sold separately, #RN0946-12C) are made from non-autoclavable
polyethylene. All Micro-Titer Tubes and CapStrips are packaged RNase and DNase free.

Applications for Micro-Titer Tubes include HTLV-III, CMV, and HSV testing,
harvesting and storing of colonies of bacterial cells and hybridoma cells,
EIA/ELISA and RIA serial dilution.
