Life Science Products' SciBasics™ Stirring Hotplate uses advanced microprocessor technology to control both temperature and stirring speed. Samples are heated to the selected temperature quickly and accurately. Just choose the desired temperature with the up/down buttons and walk away with confidence.

Sped control is also precise, using a digital display with linked adjustment knob. Regardless of the selected stirring speed, it employs a soft start feature that improves the magnetic coupling of the motor and the stirring bare, thereby preventing splasing and irregular mixing.

It's white ceramic top is chemically resistant, easy to clean and provides the best sample visibility, making it easier to observe any changes and monitor reactions. Whenever the plate surface is above 50 C, a safety LED will light up and indicate "HOT", and remains illuminated until the plate cools to a safe and more comfortable temperature.

Each unit is supplied with a detachable electri plug and one magnetic stirring bar.

Also, an optional support rod (#MHS-800-ROD, sold separately) can be installed in the threaded mounting port located on the back of the unit.
