Non-Sterile,  X-Pierce™ Film Tape (Mfg. #XP-100)
Piercable, this film features a precut X over each well for easy sample access.
The precut X over each well creates four flaps that easily bend downward when pushed by a probe or pipet tip allowing sample access without coring or adhesive fouling. The flaps return to their original position after sampling for continued protection. Note, for long term protection, a continuous film should be applied as a second layer.

Also useful for sample protection during manual reagent additions and preventing splash-over when sonicating with microtips.

X-Pierce film is 100µm vinyl with a 20µm adhesive layer.
They are designed for temporary protection of samples and to limit evaporation in 96-well plates
Designed to be used use with Robots and Single and Multi-Channel pipettors.
Temperature range: -40°C to +90°C.
Dimensions are 79.4 x 145.5mm; 124.5mm between end tabs.
